Tampa Bay Report Oct. 2009

Well this fall hasn't produced huge numbers of fish so far, but the quality has definitely been there for me. I primarily fish upper Tampa Bay from downtown St. Pete area all the way north. Water temps are working their way down with the cooler nights. Bait is out there, its just the size that hasn't been consistant for me. Another Huge Hammerhead from Boca Grande

Bucky Dennis from Port Charlotte lands another potential line class world record Hammerhead. Boca Grande Pass is haunted by the well known "Hilter". I think there are bunch of Hilter's down there feeding on the very prevelant tarpon. There just ain't one of them. I'm glad to hear this would probably be his last biggun to harvest.
